The 2013 North Council:
There's New Sheriffs in Town!
Five new family members have been "taken into custody" where they have pledged to represent you in the year to come. These people include Dean, Peanie, Amanda, Jeff, and Samantha. We "suspect" that they will do the job well.
Like last year, the North Council is in charge of planning and organizing family events throughout the year. Always remember that as a member of the Boos family...
- You have the right to remain silent - however DO NOT complain if things don't go your way.
- You have the right to an opinion. Anything you say or do WILL probably be held against you - that is until someone else steals the spotlight.
- You have the right to speak to anyone on the council at ANYTIME day or night about your questions or concerns for Up North.
Please take a moment to get to know the 2013 North Council "right meow."
Chief Deano
Do you smell bacon? Yes, you probably do if you are around Chief Deano. For the past few years, he has been assigned to a morning case at the Chippewa Family Restaurant that has left him scratching his head. The case requires him to go "undercovers" often, making him unreachable during the daytime hours. Outside of his "undercovers" operations, Dean is a master craftsman and horseshoe champion. He also recently appeared in a children's book written by new and upcoming authors, depicting his expertise in the field of bird-watching.
Captain Peanie
Freeze and put your hands up for Captain Peanie. Captain Peanie is no stranger to party planning - or partying for that matter. She and her partner have been known for closing late night cases. Thanks to her practice in finding her husband's "lost" cars, she has a lot of detective experience and has moved up the police ranks very quickly. She is also not afraid to keep the rookie officers in line.
Lieutenant Amanda
Don't let the long legs and sexy hair fool you - you won't need to call for back-up when Lieutenant Amanda is on the job. Known for her blazing speed and winning performances on the race course, she can run-down anyone, even in her stilettos. Her years spent teaching special education make her a perfect candidate to lead this family.
Sergeant Jeff
Do you remember Jeff? Besides being a hero, no one is quite sure what Sergeant Jeff does for a living, because he is so modest about his profession. To help out the family, he has graciously offered to host the Council Meetings in the banquet room of his RV - just head down the hallway and take the first right - it is the second room on the left. He can stop criminals in their tracks - as long as they are not wearing a Lucha Libre wrestling mask!
Officer Samantha
She may be young, but her talents warrant her a place on the Council. Officer Samantha's four year sentence at Stout prepared her for her roles on the force, where she doubles as a mugshot photographer and police sketch artist. She can often be seen driving around town in her squad car, Freckles. Her adventures have taken her as far as Europe, but we are always happy to see her come waddling back.
Last Sunday, the Council met for the first time to start planning for the summer. Here is what they came up with, so mark your calendars. Please contact someone on the committee if you have any questions.
